There are some areas of my life that I am flexible about. I may or may not dust in any given month. My teenagers have way more screen time than I know they probably should. But, one thing I will NOT budge on is eating dinner together as a family. I don’t care if we have to eat at 4 PM or if dinner happens to be scrambled eggs and toast. We are sitting down together as a family and eating it at the kitchen table and there are no electronics allowed. Like a lot of American families, we are often pressed for time during the week. Since I prefer meals made from scratch, I have had to get creative and recently started searching for 30 minute meals I think they will enjoy. Family dinner doesn’t have to be complicated. Easy 30 Minute Meals with Minute® Rice
Minute® Rice is an easy solution if you are looking for a quick dinner that is also healthy. I particularly love brown rice but it takes quite a while to cook and I don’t always have time to wait for it. Minute 100% Whole Grain Brown Rice is a delicious, nutritious option if you need dinner fast. It has similar nutritional values as regular long cooking brown rice, but is ready in just 10 minutes. I recently attended a #MinuteMeals blogger dinner and was truly amazed at the selection of products that Minute® Rice has to offer. Minute® Multi-Grain Medley is the newest product from Minute Rice. It’s a blend of four gluten-free, 100% whole grains, including long grain brown rice, Thai red rice, wild rice and quinoa and it conveniently cooks in 10 minutes.
When I attended the Minute® Rice #MinuteMeals blogger party, I have to say the recipe I was most impressed with was the Skillet Rice with Eggs, Ham, Mushrooms, Cheese and Herbs. I never would have thought to use rice like this in an egg and sausage dish. Doesn’t it look tasty? I am adding it to my 30 minute meals to try this week! Visit minuterice.com for over 400 recipe ideas, great for any day of the week and any time of the day from breakfast to desserts, and for more information about the Minute® Rice family of products. The Minute® Rice brown rice took only 10 minutes to make from start to finish which makes it the perfect 30 minute meals solution. At our #MinuteMeals blogger party we were treated to a number of delicious and quick meal solutions featuring several of the Minute® Rice products. I didnt realize they offered quite so many different varieties! The rice recipes included delicious stirfries, salads and even an apple rice tart for dessert that was delicious. We had a nice little recipe cookoff to see who’s team could create the tastiest stirfry. With fresh ingredients like these, they all turned out delicious!
The teriyaki beef and broccoli recipe that I made this weekend came out delicious. You can probably even make it in less than 15 minutes if you do a little bit of preparation the night before. The teriyaki glaze is made from scratch but takes only a minute or two to mix in a small glass bowl. I prefer to use fresh broccoli but you can certainly substitute frozen if that is all you have. Just heat it up first before you toss it in the pan with the meat and sauce. I love it when I find 30 minute meals that everyone actually enjoys and this one was definitely a huge hit!

That looks so yummy! I always cook with Minute rice, myself. It’s a great way to get a delicious side and get it fast.
I love MInute Rice. I almost always have it in my kitchen and use it often in recipes. Your beef and broccoli over rice looks great!
I love this recipe. I always add a ton of sesame seeds, but hadn’t thought of using sesame oil until this recipe – what a fantastic idea!
