This post about organizing your home has been sponsored by Kmart.  I am a Kmart blogger but all opinions expressed here are my own.

Winter in my house tends to leave behind an awful lot of clutter.  Hats, scarves and mittens, though used infrequently, seem to pile up near vents or randomly stuffed into places they don't belong.  Like toy boxes, book bags, or the basket of magazines I have yet to read.  Holiday gifts take forever to find new homes and by this time of year my house is starting to look a bit tattered around the edges.  Now that spring is coming I am looking forward to getting organized and maybe adding a bit of color to my home with a few new accessories.  If you are considering organizing your home and don't want to break the bank doing it, you might want to check out Kmart.  They are having their semi annual home sale so you can get organized in style without it costing you a small fortune.   Check  out the Kmart Semi Annual Home Sale Win Back Your Fort commercial for a very accurate description of how many moms are feeling this time of year!

 Organizing your Home

Organizing your home and adding a few splashes of color is a great way to improve your mood.  Nothing perks me up like seeing a bright and CLEAN home!  This spring, certain color trends are already starting to appear.  Grey has become a fashionable color choice for living spaces, as well as various shades of blue. While I certainly don't redecorate for every season, choosing a few inexpensive and functional pieces can definitely help liven up a room. The Kmart Semi Annual Home Sale offers major savings on both decor and furniture for your bedroom, bath, living room and kitchen.  Bright colors and fresh finishes will liven up your home to help dispel those winter blues!  And with the points you earn on  your Kmart purchases during your redecorating, you can save money on NEXT year's decorating trends...because who knows what color will be in next spring!  Check out the Kmart Semi Annual Home Sale for some inspiration and start decorating today!

Since my husband enlisted in the Navy and much moving is in our future I'm trying to concentrate on functional organization that doesn't take up a lot of space and that can be multipurpose.

TO be honest, it's been a very long time since IV'e stepped foot in a Kmart - however, organizing is high high on my list to accomplish this week.!!

I want more! My son has some in his room but haven't tried them in other rooms yet.

I love organizing - bit of an addiction I must admit. And what I love even more is re-organizing and giving everything a fresh look. And those cubes would be great for the boys room!
