This mocha iced coffee recipe is sponsored by Peet’s Coffee and Social Chorus but all opinions expressed here are my own.

My day just doesn’t seem to get going unless I get a little bit of coffee into my system.  Every day I get up at the crack of dawn and blindly pour a steaming mug of hot coffee to help wake me up. Of course, that jolt of caffeine doesn’t last all day and by 3 PM I am struggling once again to keep my eyes open.  But, by 3 PM here in Georgia right now it is 90 degrees and I have no desire for a cup of hot coffee.  So, what’s a girl to do when she needs a shot of caffeine but it is too hot for regular coffee?  Make an iced coffee of course!  This iced coffee recipe would be perfect for breakfast or an afternoon pick me up.  The combination of fruit, protein powder, and coffee makes it a perfect pick me up and it will help you power through a few hours of conference calls, housework, or dealing with cranky kids.
