This Brother vs Brother information has been sponsored but all opinions expressed are my own.
I am good at a lot of things. I can make some awesome home made candy, grow a fairly decent garden, and I like to think I am a pretty good mom when my kids aren’t driving me batty. I am NOT good at anything resembling construction or home renovation. I had enough trouble painting the laundry room last month. If I had to accomplish anything that involved a hammer or (heaven forbid!) power tools I am pretty sure I would cause myself bodily injury! Not that I don’t enjoy watching OTHER people undergo home renovation projects, however. I love watching people design and create beautiful new spaces with the help of giant sledge hammers and high speed drills. If you are a home renovation junky you will love the new series coming out from HGTV called Brother vs Brother!
New Series: Brother vs Brother
Two of HGTVโs top experts, Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott (stars of the Property Brothers) compete to win HGTVโs newest series, Brother vs. Brother. This is a six-episode series that premiers on Sunday, July 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The show pits Jonathanโs skills as a licensed contractor against Drewโs experience as a real estate agent as they (and their teams) work to create the smartest home renovation upgrades and score the biggest property-value increase. Each week the results of the completed home renovation are evaluated by HGTV real estate stars. Judges include Mike Aubrey (Power Broker), Kennon Earl (Selling LA) and Hilary Farr and David Visentin (Love It or List It). The teams are competing to take home the $50,000 grand prize.
This series is all about real homes and real budgets. The team members must demonstrate an assortment of sharp skills and smart budgeting to impress the judges and avoid elimination. They are facing some hard core home improvement challenges and strict deadlines which should make Brother vs Brother an exciting show to watch for renovation junkies! Of course, since these guys are ACTUALLY brothers, there is a good amount of sibling rivalry and friendly competition thrown in for viewer enjoyment! Viewers can play along with the show via the Into Now app, available for download at Apple App Store or Google Play.
