A couple of weeks ago I broke my baby toe and let me tell you it hurts! You never think your baby toe does very much for your walking style or sense of balance but it really does. A broken baby toe also makes it very difficult to put on normal shoes and for 2 weeks I have been going into work with one slipper on. Yes, it looks ridiculous but I am lucky to have an understanding boss!
Well, I am finally starting to put a ‘real’ shoe on occasionally and can stand it for a little while but after a few hours of work I need to take it off again for the ride home. Instead of just driving around barefoot (which makes getting gas or running an errand after work difficult) I have started bringing along the Kushyfoot Flats To Go that I received for review.
Kushyfoot Flats To Go
Kushyfoot incorporates the ancient healing art of Reflexology into an assortment of different kinds of socks and lightweight shoes. They offer everything from athletic socks, tights and toe covers to a type of sandal called Flats To Go. There are products for both men and women and their website even has a nice clearance section to browse through!
For my review I received a pair of their new Flats To Go (which is a thin and foldable type of sandal) as well as a pair of their microfiber crew sock. The Flats To Go have an open toe, back and sides and a very thin sole. It is completely collapsible and comes in a reusable small plastic pouch for storage. You can keep them in your purse or desk drawer for emergency changes of shoe-ware at he end of the day when your tired feet want to kick off those heels….or your broken piggy toe is starting to hurt like mine! These aren’t the sort of shoe you are going to want to walk for miles in but just a thin protective strap on sandal for emergencies. They are really rather stylish for emergency footwear! I was pleased to see the elasticized back which made it easy to slip on and off. I also received a pair of microfiber socks which were a simple black and very stretchy. They were very comfortable and thin, making them perfect for hot summer days when you need to dress up anyhow. They have a small ribbed section on the bottom for extra massaging action. I thought they were very comfy.
