The cool weather has finally arrived and I have started digging around my closet for a few warmer items of clothes. While some winter styles can be rather frumpy looking there really is no reason why moms can’t stay warm AND look fashionable at the same time. One popular fashion trend for this fall is the addition of an attractive scarf to an otherwise simple outfit. A scarf is an easy way to add a splash of color to your outfit without adding in a ton of other accessories. The FRAAS Fairisle Infinity Scarf is extremely attractive and versatile. If you are not familiar with FRAAS, here is some information about them from their website;

The FRAAS brand stands for a company with 130 years of history. This family business has always combined tradition with innovation – with great success. Today, V. FRAAS is the market leader in the manufacture of textile accessories, which are appreciated for their premium quality by the most exclusive brands worldwide.
FRAAS has a wonderful collection of both men’s and women’s scarves. More than 100 new FRAAS styles are debuting this season and many of them come in multiple color options. You can choose from 3 different color patterns like Woodland Guardians, Mineral Explosion and Decadent Traveler. The colors range from neutrals to jewel tones and will work with a number of different wardrobe styles. Their scarf styles range from knit scarves, stoles, ruanas, wraps, capes and other related accessories.
The FRAAS Fairisle Infinity Scarf is a blend of acrylic, nylon and wool which is soft and very lightweight. This makes it perfect for those days when you want a little extra warmth but don’t want to look like you are bundled up and ready to head to the arctic! It is also very easy to take with you when you travel since it takes up very little room in a suitcase. Or, you could wear it around your neck as you travel and not worry about it sliding off every time you bend down to pick up your luggage! It works well with something dressy like a sweater or a slightly more casual outfit of shirt and jeans. Your color choices are navy/turquoise, camel/ivory, rose/petal and black/grey. It retails in most stores for about $40.

My Opinion: This is a very light material with a slightly loose weave that has a nice amount of flexibility to it. I was sent the camel/ivory color pattern and since I am an earth tone sort of girl it was the perfect color choice for me. The FRAAS Fairisle Infinity scarf is long enough that you loop it around your neck twice. It took me just a couple of tries to get the scarf to hang the way I wanted it. The scarf provided just the right amount of warmth for my neck without being bulky or uncomfortable to wear around the house. Overall, I think this is a wonderful balance between fashion and function! If you are looking for an accessory that will highlight your outfit while also keeping you warm, I think that the FRAAS Fairisle Infinity is a good choice!
