October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and since I have had several friends and family members diagnosed with this disease I am always thrilled to see companies doing their part to raise awareness. I love seeing that little pink ribbon decorating my yogurt containers and am definitely more likely to purchase a product if they are donating a percentage of sales to research for a cure. Having spent many years pre-kids working in cancer research I can tell you first hand that without financing, scientific research would not happen! I was recently contacted by Madcapz to help spread the word about their stylish caps that are loaded with personality and their commitment to breast cancer research! If you haven’t heard of Madcapz before, here is some information about them from their website:
If you love baseball caps, but want one that is feminine and fun, welcome to Madcapz – colorful caps with style and personality. Whether you’re going for a walk, running some errands, or just having a bad hair day, wearing Madcapz will make you feel fabulous!
Madcapz are more than just a baseball cap. They have a low profile fit designed just for women so they fit closer to your head than a regular baseball cap. The adjustable strap makes changing the size much easier. It is made of 100% cotton fabric which makes Madcapz very soft and comfortable. They offer both caps and visors in a number of colors. Whether you are looking for animal prints, polka dots or something just straight up PINK, you will find a great selection on the Madcapz website. Their A Little Dot’ll Do Ya Madcapz is featured in the October issue of O Magazine as a featured pink product that gives back! Check it out below…cute, huh?
To show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness,
Madcapz is donating 20% off all sales in October to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation!
For my review, I received the Polka Dot Pink Madcapz which is a nice light pink with brown polka dots. (I have always loved that combination of colors!) If that isn’t YOUR favorite color combination they have lots of others to choose from. And their pink shades vary from pastel to hot pink, so you can show off your support of the cause in your favorite shade of pink! These caps are made right here in the USA and are machine washable. (hang to dry, though to maintain shape!)
Madcapz: Stylish caps with personality!
So, my opinion: I really like the way this cap fits and the easy adjust-ability with the Velcro straps means that when my daughter steals it to wear to school on hat day I don’t have to spend forever readjusting it! It fits slightly different than a traditional baseball cap which I think makes it more attractive and stylish. It sits a little higher on the head so your face isn’t totally hidden by the brim. I am really impressed with how well made it is…no loose threads from the stitching and the material isn’t stiff and uncomfortable. If you are looking to add a stylish cap to your wardrobe, I think Madcapz will have something you will really like!
